Dear ISB Parent Community,
With many ISBPA events in September, we had a great welcome back after the summer. It was wonderful to catch up with many of you with several activities: our Welcome Day Coffee Morning for new Parents, Regular Coffee Morning, Singelloop, Taco Night for Class Parents. It has been a very exhilarating kick off of another exciting year at the International School of Breda.
The ISBPA would like to express our main goal for this year to celebrate cultures around the globe. Each meeting or activity will be related to a culture just like we did the Taco Night covering Mexico, and the Board Meeting with German Theme, so we brought strudel and pretzels sharing them with the teachers. We could not forget that 5th of October is the International Teachers day therefore they also got some extension of the pretzel fever.
During this month we will have the picture day on October 13th, so mark your calendars! Also in this month we will have a highly recommended walk in the city of Breda called The Blind Walls Walk. Blind Walls Gallery is actually the museum on the street Ruim 100 where wall signs are inspired by the behavior history of Breda. We have also received an invitation from the University of Breda (BUas) about an event of Book Presentation Imagineering called Open Your Mind, ‘Seeing the World Anew’ that will be offered for free to the public on November 15 at 10 am. The event will consist of the presentation of several books by Master students in a fun and inspiring way to make you see things differently. For more information go to www.Buas.nl. As we look forward to October we have some great events lined up for the upcoming months, from wine tastings, to opportunities to get together for walks, coffee and lunch as well as some other activities. There are also some fun ways to celebrate Fall and Halloween together. Due to our fall vacation (24th-28th) we will have our Halloween party on November 4th. We will be able to hold our Annual Halloween celebration in person, and we could not have had a better location than the De Vlieren, Huis van de Heuvel.
The ISBPA looks forward to seeing you all in October, to make new friends, learn new things and discover Breda together. We appreciate your continued support and hope you enjoy all we have to offer for this new school year!
